Propagation
Turn one plant into several — rooting hormones, sphagnum moss, and glass propagation tubes that look good enough to leave out on a shelf. Most common houseplants root readily from cuttings. Pothos, Monstera and Philodendron will root in water within a few weeks; woody cuttings do better in moss with a rooting hormone. The step people get wrong is transferring too late — water-grown roots are brittle and adapt poorly to soil if left more than a few weeks.Launching soon. When your cutting is ready to pot up, our potting mixes give new roots the airy structure they need. See our indoor plant care guide.
