This Privacy Policy explains how Khaad Agro (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit khaad.in or buy from us. We are based in West Bengal, India, and we handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Device information

What we collect: browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie data, pages and products viewed, search terms, and how you interact with the site.
Why: to load the site correctly for you, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.

Order information

What we collect: name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and payment details.
Why: to fulfil your order, process payment, arrange delivery, send invoices and order confirmations, screen orders for fraud, and — where you have opted in — send you offers.
How: provided by you at checkout.
Shared with: WooCommerce (our store platform), PayU (payment processing) and our courier partners.

Customer support information

What we collect: your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry.
Why: to answer your question and resolve issues with your order.
How: provided by you by email, phone or WhatsApp.

We do not sell your personal information.

Payment information

Payments are processed by PayU. We do not store your full card details on our servers — card data is handled by the payment gateway under its own security standards.

Sharing your information

We share personal information with the service providers who help us run the business — our store platform, payment gateway and delivery partners — only to the extent needed to fulfil your order.

We may also disclose information to comply with applicable law, to respond to a lawful request from an authority, or to protect our rights.

Analytics and advertising

Analytics and AI tooling

We operate an internal tool called the Khaad Analytics Assistant, which connects our data analytics infrastructure to a local AI assistant through a secure Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. It is used only by us, internally, and is not a customer-facing service.

Because this tool authenticates with a Google account, we set out precisely how it handles Google user data:

What it accesses: read-only aggregate traffic reports from our own Google Analytics property, using only the analytics.readonly scope. We request no broader scope than our functionality requires.
Whose account: it authenticates with our own administrator Google account. It does not access any customer’s Google account, and customers are never asked to authorise it.
What it is used for: retrieving aggregate traffic reports to serve as text context for local prompt optimisation and content planning.
Storage: data is processed locally and transiently. No Google user data is stored on external servers.
Sharing: no Google user data is transferred to third parties, sold, used for advertising, or used to build profiles.
Human access: no human reads Google user data obtained through this tool, except where necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

Khaad Agro’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We limit our use of Google user data to the practices disclosed in this policy. If we change the way this application uses Google user data, we will update this policy and obtain fresh consent before the change takes effect.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file saved to your device when you visit the site. We use functional, performance and analytics cookies so the site remembers your preferences and so we can see how it is used.

Session cookies last until you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them; most of ours expire between 30 minutes and two years after they are set.

erase your personal data, where we are not required by law to keep it

Do Not Track

There is no consistent industry standard for responding to Do Not Track browser signals, so we do not currently change our data practices when we receive one.

Children

Our site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, or for legal and regulatory reasons. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
